There are a lot of things like this in Mass Effect! Like, mythology-related things and such. Like, with “Loki” being in “Asgard” and such. Another example is how, in the star cluster “Utopia,” every planet is a reference to some sort of paradise (including the name of the cluster itself): Arcadia, Eden Prime, Nirvana, Xanadu, and Zion. And my favorite thing about this is that they’re actually realistic planet names. We as a species have always named planets and stars and stuff after mythology and perfection and such, and it’s reflected really well in Mass Effect. It’s very realistically laid out (I mean, until the ending, but that’s a different story entirely). I always love seeing stuff like this
